Day Trip to Bald Head Island

One of the pleasures of Southeastern NC is access to so many beautiful places. One such place is Bald Head Island.

From Deep Point Marina, just beyond Southport NC, take the Bald Head Ferry to the island. A round trip fare is $23 per person. On the island you can  rent a golf cart, a bicycle or just hike and see the island. In the Marina there is a restaurant, snack shop and other amenities. Access to the beach is easy to find.  If you play golf then call ahead and book a tee time, or if you like history, explore the Old Baldy Light House.
